F6 Typhoon Second Snorkel

Hey iv got a xr6t and I want to get a F6 typhoon second snorkel put on it and was just wondering where the ebst place to pick one up would be and also some info on installing it.

also I have a clunk in my diff only realy when I reverse and take off whats would corse that?

F6 intake can be found on the classifieds on this site normally, ebay, wrecking yards or new from ford. Installing it is just a simple process of removing the standard on and fitting the F6 one.

The diff clunk is a factory fitted feature. If it's really bad, the diff bush is probably shagged.

ok cheers guys..the clunk isnt to bad only dose it on n off but ill look at gettin the bushes done befor it gets worse how much would that cost to get done?

Diff bush is a labour intensive job, the whole rear suspension cradle has to come out to do it properly. While you are getting it done, consider getting the control arm bushes done as well and have the gasket in the diff replaced.

You can go to ford to get a snorkel, but be careful as they have an FPV one for $100 odd and a ford one for 70. EXACTLY the same, I learned this after buying the expensive one

yes if you go to ford then get one from a bf xr8 - prices vary from dealer to dealer.
