Increase in options to include a boot liner for all Falcons as standard, perhaps. Followed by piss-up.

gt and gtp coupe

Very likely methinks - well, mehopes anyway heheheh.

I don't think it will be an American import - how many failures can Ford afford with their American imports?

Also, I don't see a "small" car being so significant that this special meeting is convened.

I really think Ford will market to their strength, and that is the full size family sedan, or at least something built on the platform thereof, and cashing in on the runaway success of the BA range. This all points to a coupe in my estimation - keep your fingers crossed boys and girls ...

Maybe there will be a left hand drive version of the Falcon for export to the USA and they will call it something homosexual like Taurus or Pelican.

No-one has mentioned Escape. With territory coming what would they do with this vehicle? I have been informed that this vehicle will be staying & dealers will be happy with the escape lineup.

I reckon its about Ford selling SVT F150 Lightening pickups here. (Probably as a FPV F150 Lightening or similar.

10 were seen at the docks in Melbourne last week. All in a weird green colour

For those who dont know, these trucks were a limted edition (300 made) pickup truck for the US market. Very, very hard to get your hands on one as the limited edition ones tend to be pre-sold to "connected" people.

Pickups may not sound exciting to most, but having driven one on a track, I can tell you they are amazing: dont be fooled by the looks. They handle on a track better than most normal sporty cars - the suspension is amazing for the type of vehicle it is.

The engine from memory was a 5.6 litre supercharged monster. Made for a great drive: can you imagine beating a WRX in a huge 2 tonne pickup? Try 0-100 in 5.6 seconds in the auto.

Also, anyone heard rumours of Expensive Daewoo working on a 6 cylinder twin turbo? I heard that from someone at Expensive Daewoo a week or so ago.

(And dont be worried: a well setup single turbo will usually drive much better than a dual sequential turbo setup - ask any turbo expert). Although they could be two smaller turbos pumping at the same time.
