February 5, 201016 yr #1 This is probably a dumb question, and I couldn't find any information about it. Anyway, If I remove the exhaust tip on my BA XR6T, will I have to fit new tips, or do the stock ones come out far enough? I just hate the look of the stock one because it's crooked on mine. Does anyone have any pics?cheers, J
February 5, 201016 yr #2 Mate I had the tip on my BA changed, you have to cut it off Behind chrome tip as it is welded to the pipes coming out of the muffler. Had 2 titanium tips welded on and they look hot with the phantom color on my car. Will try to up a pic tomorrow when I get back from work. Edited February 5, 201016 yr by phantom xr6t
February 6, 201016 yr #4 I got the tips from a exhaust shop in townsville on charters towers rd a couple of years ago. I liked the twin pipe outlet look better then the standard tip.

February 8, 201016 yr #7 Author They look the goods mate. I think I'll be doing something similar 3" is a good size.
February 8, 201016 yr #8 the reason your tips will be crooked is because the exhaughst is probably on crooked somewhere, most likely up at the dump pipe, especially if its a standard one.
February 11, 201016 yr #9 How is that Ford can send a Brand new Xr6 Turbo out into the market with the freakin exhaust crooked. Deadset is the inspection bloke cross eyed or something. An exhaust centre told me its because the exhaust was put on crooked at the factory.. But you see this everywhere on xrs, the FG is the worst I think, BAs never seem to sit bad. What the hell is Ford doing, Expensive Daewoo can get it right, they look tight on the commos. Just Venting, I am gonna follow suit and cut mine off too. Thanks for the idea.Pete
