Well it could be a few things really but a clicking/creaking when turning from the steering rack I was aware of..

When I worked at Ford the issue was serious. I understand it is one of the reasons for the new front end and steering rack in the FG, there was at least one engineer working on the issue the whole time I was there. :Doh:

You can loosen and re-tension (not sure the spec) the two bolts that hold the Steel Rack to the Alloy Crossmember, maybe with some WD40 or something on the Bush (passenger side). But the best place to do the fix would be the dealer, they should have a TSB telling them how to fix it, if not for good then at least for a while... I remember a steel washer did help on some cars when I was there, like detonator said.
