Not sure what one of these is but after doing a forum search it looks like no one else has had this problem.Just curious as to what this is and whether it is something I should be able to feel while driving.BTW - Ford is going to replace it under warranty.
25/01/10 10:03 AM25/01/10 10:03 AM #2 very common, there is another type you can get which is a harder material, or take it back to ford to replace if under warranty still. make sure u ask for all 3 replaced, as mine was done and another split. took it back again and they still only replaced the one.
25/01/10 10:37 AM25/01/10 10:37 AM #3 Fairly common I think, got mine replaced on friday by ford under warranty even though its tuned which was pretty lucky, although when I went to pick it up on saturday the window was down and it was left unlocked presumably over night not happy FORD, oh and now it has a driveline vibration over 80km/h so looks like they put something back together out of balance, they will definately be hearing about this, annoying how you take it there for one thing and it comes back with another problem, and all they say is just book it in and we will look at, or just say oh that's normall, when clearly its not, and charge you more and not even fix it, my opinion the ford extended warranty is a joke.
