Once again I have my car back from ford for warrenty work.

At least this time I actually have dash lights that come on and ICC all nice and blue yahoo

My question is.... when you turn you lights on manually, during the day, does the ICC screen dim ???? Or stay bright ???

I am sure mine did dim in the day regardless, before the gremlins got into it, now it wont unless its dark.

And I am sure even in full sunlight during the day it was a bright white background. Now it is a kind of shade of green.

I said hey this is not right to my ford man and he said no no that's how they work

Is it time to get my mud dweller out and start legal bantering ?????

Not 100% sure of the colour on the standard screen...but they are most definitely only designed to dim/illuminate when it's dark. If it didn't do that beforehand then it must have been faulty from the factory.

When you turn on the lights manually the screen and dash dim as if it were dark, but will return to normal after a few seconds once the sensor realises its daytime.

Yes before, even in bright sunlight if you turned on your lights it dimmed the screen. Now it will only dim the screen of a night, or in the garage.

Anyway I have dash illumination and can see of a night.

they have been very nice and a apologetic.

They got rid of the rattles ..... and other gremlins for now. I guess.

I hope that's it for a while so I can feel some love for it and from it, so I can finally like it.

on my BF xr anytime the lights are on the ICC inverts its colour to the black background, even if it is day the screen is black whenever the lights are on. oh and it does dim with the dimmer button as well
