I got them at my local suspension shop - they do not compress with age as the rubbers do and so the tension on the U-bolts remains constant. You can also clamp down harder and not squash them out or cut them as you might do with rubbers.

Definitely a better option without any doubt.

I also replaced the eye bush rubbers with urethane ones - the difference is noticable - all the rear end steering than can occur with exhuberent cornering disappears. And an extra main leaf stopped the tendency for spring windup under acceleration - no more axle tramp. Bilstein shocks completes the rear end mods.

But I don't think you'd have to do all that much to yours - just the urethane inserts would be enough and I reckon you'd notice an improvement.

Yep,I am going to to the bushes mate as per what you have done as I can see this is only going to happen again.

You commented that your diff was moving around as well,I assume this was totally eliminated with the new bushes?.

I did not want to change the nice ride of the rear end so will not be adding extra leaf springs,Although I saw a interesting devise at a recent trade show that bolts onto the underneath of the springs and tightens up only under extrme load which I thought was a good idea.Keep the same ride but gets tighter the more load you put on it.
