What Mods Can I Do To My R Spec Without Blowing The Engine Or Auto ?

to many variables to put a safe rwkw figure on these cars imo. just hook into it and have the funds to back it up if it goes pearshaped. you could lose a tranny or bottom end with less than what you are currently running.

You don't need valve springs dude.

Get:

- Wastegate ported, 38mm flapper valve and a 12psi or 15psi actuator

- 4" airbox

- Surge tank

- Fuel pump

- 60lb injectors

- 4" dump and a good cat

A retune with those mods and your current mods would give you over 370rwkw on 98RON and you won't know what hit you

Eventually with that power you might need to do the clutches in the ZF but get a 'race' tune done then a mild tune (say 350rwkw) for everyday driving. With a ZF you'll munch almost anything on the road

That's an under battery cold air intake. An Airbox has better flow.

so whats the differance with a airbox and a pod type system????

ive been lookin on plazmaman site and the 4 inch intake and air box kit and it looks the same as I got but not with the box shield around it ....

my pod filter is next to my driving/fog light .....

Nah you move the battery and the airbox uses the space where your battery is at the moment whereas your cold air intake pipe goes under the battery. Less piping, larger pipes and a generally shorter distance to the inlet means more horsepower
