Ok heres whats happen.

Was checking my ABS Fuses today. the small 15amp inside and the Big 60amp in engine just for burning or broken cause of my Brake issue which no one can repair  (long story in another topic). any way trying to pull out the Big YEllow fuse in the engine fuse's and it snapped on me. (Was hard to get out) I Know I did Something wrong, all the metal wiring has snapped and it went too pieces.

Any way when I start the car I get (!) (ABS) and traction controll OFF all Light up. Which did not look good. Im Gonna drive 2kms down the road tommorow to FORD Dealer and Get them to fix it.

I shouldn't have touched a thing :bye: Hope its nothing too bad to worry about.

Any one Had (!) light up on dash before give me some feedback, cheers..

Tom

Na havent lowered my car mate. But the signs are always on like before I broke the fuse the ABS came up some times but now its always there. Its booked in on Thursday and hopefully doesnt cost me much.

Though I havent notice any differnet in Driving maybe its a Sensor thing?

might be better/cheaper to take to a auto elec that looks after yr fraud dealer.. save paying premium for a middle man..

or maybe one of the boys from the site I think works at a ford dealer that culd help u...

try using long nose plyers to pull each bit out.. just take care maybe worth taking off negative terminal..

..the ABS came up some times...

Hey,

This sounds very much like an ABS sensor issue. I had mine come up a few times before the sensor was replaced. It gave me the sh!ts. Took it to Fraud and they plugged in their computer, took it for a drive around the car park doing some 8's and found a faulty LHS ABS sensor. I tried cleaning the sensors, when the problem first started, but it did not solve anything.

Also like GNU UP has said, first try to remove the bits with a nose plyer first and if that fails, take your car to your local auto elec, will be heaps cheaper than Fraud. Hope this helps.

Cheers,

AJ

ALL GOOD

Car had same problems as Phooned said (LHS ABS sensor) Ford gave it a touch up on there Computer and replaced the Brocken Fuse Box and fuse. Cost $120 which wasnt that bad I thought. Also Got them to check all brakes and handbrake which was Gone. That cost another $80 something.

I had no idea what might have trigger the ABS Sensor to fail. Might be The Dust, dirt or Humidity of Northern WA.
