on dubs Member 132 Member For: 16y 10m 1d Gender: Male Location: Gawler, SA Posted 06/11/09 02:23 AM Author Share Posted 06/11/09 02:23 AM (edited) driving to work this morning, had it in drive floored it kicked down then more smoke and flat spot.put it in sequential shift, drove it hard no problems at all.just a thought, the car was serviced by ford before I picked it up. possible that a reflash might help then?if it doesn't, I will put the standard tune on it and see if the problem goes away at least until I can get it on the dyno.the brown residue on the exhaust tip is black when you run your finger through it. If they were custom it would read something like: economical or performance etc.Capa tunes are known to blow engines, especially the 10psi tune. My C&V Generics are waaay better, but still not bullit proof. Best way forward is a custom tune.
