Hi All,

The time has come to replace the original Dunlop Sp3000 235/45 R17's on my BF. Quotes were around the $230 per corner mark. Pretty happy as I got close to 50 000k's from them.

I can get a set of 18" rims off a G6ET with SP Sport Maxx 245/40 R18's (about 3000k's old.) I'm a big fan of that tyre but think the rims may look a bit conservative on the T. Having said that I am generally a fan of understated 'non-bling' type rims.

Anyone from club grandpa with some advice????

I put my old 18" G6ET wheels onto the old XR6T.

Heres a couple of pics, sorry for the bad pic quality but they were taken with my crappy phone camera.

Yeah it looks quite good, much better than the stock 17" rims that were on the XR6T.

Not bad....but then taking something off the G6ET and putting it on anything will always make it look better :beerchug:

Tab: Looks wise maybe but lets just hope the G6ET lasts as long as the old XR6T as well as being as reliable.....so far the G6ET has been off to a very very bad start, its had more dealer visits than a kid a on crack. It off to the dealer again this week so ZF can once again try and sort out the trans issue.
