03 Ba Diff

hey guys just a question on my 03 ba turbo ute im haveing trouble with it in the last 2 months ive done the 2 wheel bearings in it both on the left side the back of the ute feels loose where I know its all tight because we go over it every service just wondering if any one has put a different diff in them if so what one and approxamently how much for the parts as my old man is a mechinc cheers for any advice

How does it feel "loose"? Have you checked all the bushes in the rear?

yeah all are good but when I bought the ute the axels were both loose so we had to tighten it all up and sence then ive had nothing but trouble im thinking about just getting a new diff and start again

I had my diff replaced with one fron an older model, I think it was an ed falcon? the ba diff is made from lighter metal and wears out very quickly. the older models also have 2 extra gears in them. Same ratios etc.
