hey guys

basiclly I got a brand new gt3540 from a mate

im just wondering if its a good idea to put the new turbo on and then sell the one I have on my f6 40,000k's old or should I keep the one I got and sell the new one ?

is it worth putting the new turbo on when I start doing my mods or not bother

cheers

I'd use the new one for an external gate mod, then you can simply swap them over, keep the original as a spare

I was thinking of doing the port and actuator mod to the new one then fit it , as im not into the external gate thing use to have one on a nissan and wasnt a fan , so I might just do that and sell my old one

anyone no how much gt3540's go for with around 40,oook's in great condtion ?

Port and actuator on the new one then swap when you mod sounds good. Keeping the old turbo as a spare is the best move IMO. I've got a brand new one sitting in my shed that I got for a song some time ago.
