September 18, 200917 yr #1 Hi AllI have done some searching on the forum regarding HID kits. I am just wondering if anyone has purchased a HID kit from www.hidworld.com.I am looking at getting the 8000k - http://hidworld.com/cart.php?target=product&product_id=16217&category_id=251 for my BF SR Falcon (price is in USD). Has anyone had any issues with installing this type of kit in the standard XT headlights, I will be aiming these down to try and minimise the blinding of other motorists but im usually stuck behind someone slow so they can just suck the brightness Appreciate any advice and helpCheersPhil
September 18, 200917 yr #2 8000 is pretty high isn't it? I thought that 4000 to 6000 was the reccommended ones?
September 24, 200917 yr #3 Author well the 8000 is just the colour of the beam, as I want a bit of blue in the beam colour and the pics of the 6ks werent blue enough and the 10k was too blue. They dont have pics on their website in the gallery of 8k so im hoping its somwhere in between (which in theory it should be)

September 24, 200917 yr #6 Author Steve is quite a knowledgable man and will do discounts for members on this forum, I plan on getting the 6000k that he sells as this will give me better light etc than the other kit I was looking at. Anyone else who needs info on HIDs should give him a ring

November 7, 200916 yr #10 I have 10k HID installed at the beginning I was reali worried it would be too blue, but wen I installed them (really easy by the way) its white....so I assumed they were 8k! only recently did my mate drive my car around the block and from a distant did I notice how BLUE they are from far, so im happy with it all! up close it looks WHITE AS!
