this is what I did in my ba xr6t

it has tge typhoon intake which makes a huge difference and took me 30 mins including finding the right tools to cut my hole for tge typhoon intake!

Hope this helps for those of you in the colder states, eg Vic! I wouldn't suggest it to anyone who would be driving round in 30+ deg. days!

I took the lid off cut the front out with a hack saw blade

attached a 4" k&n pod to a piece of alloy pipe which I have going into the top neck part of the box.

not sure about power increases or sound increases, I did it all before arriving home when I bought the car.

MYBAXRT do you get alot of noise coming out of your CAI with that alloy piping ?
