Just watched the news tonight & yes they are on strike but also said It would not effect production? Go figure! Not sure but I think at this stage it is only material handleing guys I.e. forklift drivers & such?

Phew, that was close.

Saw my new car at the dealer today. It's in pre-delivery and due to be delivered tomorrow.

Its not just the factory either. All of spare parts warehouse are on strike as well...... I want a job at Ford!

Lets all hope this doesnt happen when we all go down for our visit in October!!! (touch wood)

Its funny that Ford said on the news that production wouldn't be effected although all of Broadmeadows and Geelong production workers are striking until Wednesday at the earliest. Are the cars magically going to build themselves. Looks like I'll be enjoying the sunshine for a few days.

Maybe that's why they're on strike! Worried about losing their jobs because of this magic!

Fricken Heck. I've gotta go see my dealer today and find out if my car has actually been finished on the production line. If it is, what a damn close call. If not then I'm gonna cry :(
