You are going to pay 16k to go from an 07 XR6T to an 05 F6, to be honest I think you are going backwards. I am sure the F6 is nice but for the money they are asking, you would want it to be fully optioned and be pretty immaculate.

So what is this F6 like, is it listed anywhere online?

You are bonkers if you go from an 07 BF XR6T to an 05 BF F6 for 15k swap over.

If you have a base model BF, for 15k you could easily go up to 350rwkw, fit custom leather interior, big brakes, big wheels, good suspension and have a car that will tromp the stock F6.

No Leather, 6 pot Brambo's, 19's or sports wheel. Tell them they are dreaming.

They could see you coming from a mile away.

Not all about performance etc. I don't want an unbelievably fast car, I've just always wanted a phoon.

I think XTR means that it may only have the 4 pots brembo's and not the 6 pot ones.

Trade in will make you cry mate. I had my 04 BA with 50,000km's and in awesome condish, valued about 6 months ago for $15,000... I nearly fell off my chair. You are far better going private sale, but even then the changeover is going to be a killer...

Why not just remove the rear wing, add a phoon front bar and debage? Add some nice rims and some engine tweaks and you'll have a mad looking car that looks like a phoon, but goes like a drag car... For waaaaay under $18k changeover...

$7K will get you over 300rwkw, a painted phoon bar, XR8 bonnet, and some rims. Just look 2nd hand mate and you'll find everything heaps cheaper.

A simple tune with injectors, K&N, 2nd intake and F6 intercooler will make your car wipe the floor with a stock F6. Get some 19" agent F6 rims, lower your car a bit and get a set of 4 pot Brambo's for the front.

I agree an F6 is always going to be an F6 and I can understand why you would want one. But not for the changeover you are looking at.
