this may seem like a pointless question but is there alot of difference in performance output when it comes to a F6 cooler and BA factory one. I have a BA and want to know if its worth putting a F6 cooler in.

Hey mate,

Some people use them instead of the stock cooler. They are a better cooler, but how much better I don't know...

I'd assume they'd be similar to a Monza styled cooler. Most people opt for a plazaman, PW, RAP1D cooler system instead, but if you can source one cheap, it will be an improvement over the stock BA cooler.

If it wasn't, why would they put them on the F6?

A few members have done it, so I'm sure they can help out.

I swap my xr cooler for phoon 1 ,there about twice the size than standard.I am getting almost 307 rwkw out of mine with the mods I have but its a its limit and I will probably get pretty bad heat soak come summer so she will probably suffer a bit.

They are 50% bigger but probably not 50% better as most of it sits behind the bumper bar support and doesn't get a lot of direct air flow. Saying that it should still be considerably better than stock XR one, I'll also put one on if I come across a cheapish one around.

the stock cooler is no good after about 240-250rwkw it becomes heat soaked and the inlet temps rise to much to tune anymore power through safely.

the F6 cooler does about 300 before the inlet temps go high... its a worthwhile mod if your not chasing huge power.
