Hi Guys,

I want to lower my FG Xr6t about 1 to 1 1/2 inches. Do I need to change struts or can I just swap over to shorter springs. The other thing is will I need to do a camber kit in the back or wont it effect it to much?

just lowered mine about 2 inches and I needed a camber kit but it's different for every car(and they don't cost much). you shouldn't need to replace the struts, but mine is an F6 so it may be different to yours but the improvement in handling and ride is awesome.

Thanks mate. If you dont mind me asking what was the cost. Yours is a ute yeah so it has leaf springs? how much was the camber kit. Could you show me a side on pic of your car before and after the lowering if you have pics?

I put coilovers in mine and have no problems, I'm also running +30 offset rims without and drama;s either.

I would think with the correct offset you could run 9.5 in the rear.
