cranked the subs and pretty sure its the actual glass. so your saying to put the silicone/cardboard etc like in the small space in between the glass and the rim of the frame?

Just run a strip of the silicon around the inside edge of the glass frame... :nuts:

bit off topic but has anyone had their boot insulated with dynamat or something similar to stop boot rattle from subs? thinking of getting it done just wanted to know if it was worth it and how much it cost

iv 'sort of' found a solution for rear view mirror rattle, not sure if its legal though lol

I wrapt 2 stripes of electrical tape on either side of the centre of the rear view mirror,and also put tight elastic bands over the tape

this has tightened up the mirror and stopped 70-80% of the rattle, although it does cut a little bit of vision, you can still see well.

Mine shakes from behind where the swivel thingy ma bob is lol... haha its drives me up the wall :spoton: ... I dropped into a local ultra tune and they fixed it on.....:D hehhe na kidding just had that silly ultra tune ad stuck in my head

but seriosuly its killing me.... I have used a whole box of rubber band to shuv in the gap and all that has cuased is for the rubber bands to fall in behind the plastic housing and the mirror glass itsefl :( cost $0.85 for the rubber bands as well...

Think I'll just rip it off :beerchug:
