Intercooler Pipes

hi guys,can cooler pipes be made from stainless steel or is aluminium the better option??

being a sheety I can make up some pipes from stainless and tig weld them,but our workshop doesn't

have an ally welder.any feedback will be good.thanks

Stainless is fine. Use 304 ≤1.2mm wall tube.

go stainless, you can use a much thinner wall thickness then alloy which means larger ID
