Hi Everyone, first post on here. Just bought an '04 XR6 turbo, mechanically standard.

Need to soak up some of your experience and want to know the best modifications to make, for power and reliability with a limited $8k budget?

I was thinking of spending $5k engine mods, $1,500 on brakes $500 transcooler and $1,000 on miscellaneous expenses that pop up?

Injectors $450

Fuel pump $150

Cat $450

Dump $500

Flash box $650 (from me  )

Tune $750

Tranny cooler $350

Valve Springs $800 (supply & fit)

Auto Strengthen $2500

Rotors & pads $800

Total $7400.

The extra $600 should cover fitting costs depending on where you go. Just make sure you get most/all from the same place & push for a discount... If they know your budget upfront something will be worked out :spit:

Yeah, sorry, forgot to mention I am in WA, so if you can recommend anyone over here to see let me know.

I have heard that Simon at Xtreme Ford Tuning is pretty good, any other suggestions?

Mate he is pretty bloody good by all accounts. My sugestion would to hook up with members on a cruise and look at mods and talk to the owners. You will get alot more out of that then posts on here.
