Hi

My power steering high pressure hose is leaking from under the pump which Im told is a common thing with the BAs as a little 'O' ring gets chewed out on the swivel point.

I was told there is a difference between turbos and NA hoses is that true? I cant see why there would be. Ebay you can buy pwr str hose for $70 asked a Q from seller they said hoses are the same. spoke to local auto parts place they said a difference and its $240 for mine!! :pinch:

bit of a difference in price. :roflmbo:

If ya know let me know and if you know where I can get on line cheaper than $240 if there is a turbo hose that would be great as well. Thanks. :nerd8::spit::santa2:

So I can just get an 'O' ring? do they need to be pressed on with a special tool or . . . . . ? can you do it yourself or is it a job for a high pressure hose place?

thanks

it is a very easy job to do yourself, the catch is you need a genuine ford o ring because it is thicker then a standard o ring so you cant just get one from a bearing shop
