C.d Problem?

Featured Replies

Hi guy's,

just got the car a few days ago, havent had a chance to get back to the guy I brought it off yet to see if he had same problems. I burned a few new mix c.d's and with every one of them when it gets to over half way through the c.d around the 8-9th track it just starts skipping. Have checked the discs and they have no marks or scratches etc. Just wondering if there's a place that anyone knows of that can check the c.d unit itself>

Cheers

Brad

Ive been told the cd players dont like copied CDs. Id avoid using them and just get an mp3 adaptor.

Oh ok....just weird that it plays the first half of the disks no worries. If that is the case it will have to get in line behind other mods lol

mine's a BA I and it's never had a problem with playing burnt cd's, in fact I'm not sure it's ever seen an original :innocent:

:stickpoke: neither of my previous cars ever saw an original disc all were burnt copies.

ASL :innocent: site advertisers should be able to check it for you.

Although I HIGHLY doubt there's a problem with the player, try using a different brand of disc and slow the burn rate down a notch.

does it do it with a proper music cd?

I would say combination or any of the following

1. tired burner

2. old discs

3. cheap discs

4. burn rate too fast.

Plays original CD fine. So just going to get some newer blank discs and slow the burn speed. Thanks all much appreciated.
