Trophies Presented to Winners and Runner Up of each Bracket.

Rain day allocation Monday 26th January 2009 "Australia Day".

All paid up competitors are invited to attend a closed session of "Test & Tune" [no spectators] on Saturday 24th January 2009 between 5pm and 8pm with a spit dinner supplied to drivers & crew immediatly after [free of charge].

Great door slammers why only 1/8th mile is there an insurance issue with Calder and the door slammers big MPH, no cover over 200mph?

Entries for the Doorslammer class are now closed as we have a full field. All competitors who don't fit into the class categories including Supercharged outlaws etc are welcome to run in the "All Comers / Super Sedan" class.

Please Note as of 10th December all garages have now been booked out for this event.

“Calder Park Takes Drag Racing Seriously”

Tuesday 9th December 2008 work started on replacement of the existing bitumen start area to further improve the track for competitors. A brand new concrete launch area is under construction and will be ready for use at the next losd event on Saturday 20th December 08. Each launch area will be: 6.3mt wide 89mt long with 65mt (213ft) down track from the start line. [ Photos and Details click here ]
