19/10/08 10:50 AM19/10/08 10:50 AM #3 wrms is the nominal running power, your speakers are 120w peak and 60 rms so they are 60w speakers, the max power figure is just aselling point. same as your sub its 300w max but 150rms. my subs are 400rms so 800 watt max.as for speakers in the utes standard there one in each door one behind each seat and I got tweeters in the pillars in corner of dash Edited 19/10/08 10:52 AM19/10/08 10:52 AM by sickd

19/10/08 10:32 PM19/10/08 10:32 PM #5 Author I have removed the standard rear speakers and put in the 160W 6x9's yesterdayand I will put the 6.5" Splits in the front when I have time,I am going to put the amp under the passenger seat and a 12" sub behind the passenger seat. Will the amp be able to run:the 6.5" splits in frontthe 6x9's in rearand the sub????My sub is 300 WRMS so it would be 600W max.if this all goes to plan my ute will just pump the sound out.

19/10/08 10:46 PM19/10/08 10:46 PM #7 Author could I run the front speakers just of the standard system and then the sub and the rear speakers off the amp?
19/10/08 10:53 PM19/10/08 10:53 PM #8 could I run the front speakers just of the standard system and then the sub and the rear speakers off the amp?you could but then the fronts would have trouble keeping up, if anything run the backs of the standard system and use the amp for your fronts and sub. the 6x9 to me are useless as you will have good midrange from your fronts and bass from you sub.
