Hey guys just want your opinions on what to do ive currently got a 05 Ba 4 speed and have a few spare coins at the moment I dont want to go over board just a nice increase. Ive bought a flash tuner with generics but car stutters up top possibly due to valve springs on the maps so it was flashed back to factory interested in a custom tune anyway.

Like I mention just want a nice increase without going to overboard what would you guys recommend to start off with custom tune, valve springs possibly and injectors ? and roughly how much should I budget for ?

yer I have pretty much the same as u... I jsut bought a flash tuner 2 but am not keen to put the generics in my car really.... I have been quoted valve springs ($800 supply and install), getting hi flow cat and centrwe muffler removed ($435), 60lb siemens injectors ($400) then a custom tune to suit my car ($450)

hope that helps you... should get a quite decent amount of more power with those modifications from stock

I would upgrade the intercooler as well

A cooler will do 2 things... Increase flow through your intake allowing more fuel & timing to be added resulting in more power, as well as make your power more consistent on repeated runs.

do u think jsut a cooler on the standard piping would be alright???

The stage 1 coolers are not ideal but they are far better than stock

If that's all the budget allows, then go for it!

An upgraded under battery pipe is a good idea when upgrading the cooler too

As is battery relocation, airbox on driver's side, stainless piping... The list just keeps growing if you allow it
