Hi guy's,

Just got my car back for the weekend to play on the mt cotton skid pan tommorrow.

It currently has made an easy 320 Rwkw which is a rich tune. Car goes back on Tuesday to get a even cleaner map we are going to pull it up around 330-340rwkw as more than that is just to much wheel spin for track work.

The car has the following:-

Flash 2 tuner

stock exhaust with 3.5" metal cat

Process west surge tank and bosch 044 pump

modified turbo - 12psi actuator and waste gate mod.

Process west race kit with plenum, 6 inch intake, stage 2 cooler and under guard battery box

60lb injectors

plus suspension mods - springs, sway bars, shocks etc.

I am happy with the result for now but will be going for bigger turbo, exhaust, rods, pistons, crank etc once I have bought my wife a new car, hopefully that will be in about 12 months time. Don't trust my wife driving it with any more power than it has now. Can post up a dyno graph later this week once the car has had it's final super safe tune.

Would like to thank Pete at Pro torque perfomance at Ormeau (brisbane/Goldcoast) for all the work he has done on the car to date.

Nice one Justin! You'll be used to it in no time. You'll get used to the power before too long and you'll be begging for that next upgrade :w00t2:

Get some pics on already!

It was some much fun, I couldn't drive on boost though as it was way to slippery with the diesel on the track. I drove on vacuum all the time.

Went Down to see Pete from Pro Torque Performance finish the final tuning bits and pieces on the car and see the figures of what it was producing on the dyno.

The car has heaps more power now and is running 2-3 psi less boost to produce it. We decided to set the boost at 13 Psi maximum and ended up with a dyno sheet showing 330Kw @ the rears before we run it off the dyno

It was the best figure we could get as the rear tyres were way to soft from being on the dyno, I could put my hand on them and they felt like sticky slicks and they were the standard dunlops.

This run was the best run we could do and it was wheel spinning on the dyno from too much heat in the tyres.

Pete told me it could be losing an easy 10-5kw through tyre slip.

Anyway don't care to much about the Kw rating but the way it drives and it drives like a normal car until you mash the foot and all hell breaks loose.

Pete said I could throw it back up on the dyno to see what real power it is making once I have driven it around for a day or two so the tyres can hard up a bit and stop slipping on the dyno.

More than likely I will be buying better tyres for it now to keep wheel spin a little better under control.

I throughly recomend Pete for dyno tuning - yes he is more expensive than some others but you can be guaranteed of a great custom tune. You will need to be a little patient waiting for your car as he does spend quite a few days tuning it and does tune alot of big horsepower cars so he does get busy just before power cruise and jamboree etc.

If you go to see him tell him Justin (me) with the Rspec recommended him.

Might have to do the exhaust and a few other bits and pieces in the future depending on cash flow

Nice work mate, that power level is pretty lethal on the street, so I wouldn't be dissapointed
