polerised sunnies fix that little problem :welcome2:

Armor all is alot better than it used to be

The main problem with some interior protectants is they are solvent and silicone based. The silicone gives that glare and also silicone never truly dries and can't bond with the surface thus it slings off tyres and trims in the rain. The solventa can cause dry rot of the vinyl and plastic

I don't know if armor all is at fault in this case, maybe not but there are still these types of products available today, mostly from bulk industrial cleaning products

Whats wrong with armor oil

I used Armorall for about 3 months. After that I started to see fading spots on my dash. I was freaked out, didn't know what to do. One of my mate recommended Meguiars Rubber and vinyl protectant. It took me 5 months to get faded spots back to original color. That's why never use Armorall. Use meguiars products. They're the best.

Armourall has got too much silicon in it. It cause your dash to catch a lot of dust and it makes your dash crack easier too

Best stuff I've found is auto glym bumper black. Can do just about anything with it. I did my dash, doors, engine bay & even my tyres. The tyres obviously didn't last to long because of the rain but my engine bay & interior look the same as I did it over 2mths ago. No ill effects so far. It states you can use it on all the above surfaces. Does attract abit of dust but nothing a damp cloth doesnt fix which doesnt wipe the stuff off.
