QLD Posted 03/07/08 09:45 PM Author Share Posted 03/07/08 09:45 PM the sound your describing sounds like pingingwhats fuel like up there ,try a tank of premium and some octane booster ,see if that helps if it keeps up you may have a bad sensor in the car ,ie knock sensor etcalso get the coils checkedThanks mate... Fuel up here is quite good I would think. I've been using 98RON for a few weeks now, so you'd think all the sh*t stuff has been used up. Plus I've got a new fuel filter on.I heard it while driving this morning, and its definitely a fluttering noise while under load. Could it be my stock BOV stuffed? Its definitely a soft fluttering, not a loud ticking. Got me stumped. Think I might buy a set of proper sparkies and some new coils. See how that goes. Are there any quiet injectors out there? QLD Posted 05/07/08 09:04 AM Author Share Posted 05/07/08 09:04 AM Hmmm well I've noticed today that it does seem to go away after driving around for a while. My normal use is 5-10 min trips to and from work every day and that's it.Yesterday and today I drove around for longer than this, and it didn't seem to flutter as much, if at all, under load.
