XF Falcon <put funny sh*t here> Member 3,365 Member For: 18y 5m 26d Gender: Male Location: Perth, NOR Posted 23/05/08 02:55 AM Share Posted 23/05/08 02:55 AM Get the proper Ford mats with the logo, and make sure you use the tabs to stick the drivers side one down.I vacuumed my floor mats once, and left the drivers one just sitting there....later on that day, took a mate for a spin, floored it on the rolling, let go of the gas... and the pedal was stuck down under the mat! Lucky no cars were that close to me, but I was rapidly approaching another moving cars backside at about 120kph! so left foot immediately on the brakes, trying to kick the pedal upward with the right foot, as well as right arm reaching down to slide the matt backwards! It was all over within 5 seconds but damn good reminded to always clip it down! haha Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/45828-car-mats/#findComment-680785 Share on other sites
dule Donating Members 1,180 Member For: 18y 18d Gender: Male Location: Sydney Posted 23/05/08 02:57 AM Share Posted 23/05/08 02:57 AM They are around $90-100 for the front ones from ford with mounting clips so they stay in place. But if you need front only you need to ask for the ute ones as sedans come with rear too. You can get different colours for the trim and logo. One of the other guyz there has a red VX s-pak, and he has done his dashmat like this with a black mat, red trim, and red S logo on passenger side. looks sweet cos it matches the rest of the interior.
