This may have been asked and answered already, .....

but is the FPV range not getting the "XR" style headlights this time around?

Sorry if this has been answered before, but haven't been following the release notes closely as I didn't think I would want one. I might be coming around now though!

I did search briefly and couldn't find anything.

Correct!

Only the xr models now get the scalloped looks. FPV went for the more euro look....and then decided to compliment with the racoon eyes!!

I dunno yet, until I see it in the flesh I am gonna hold my judgement. The "racoon eyes" are just so wrong to me. Then again I might see one in the flesh and fall in love. Either way, ALL FPV's are safe in the knowledge they won't be parked out the front of my place any time in the next 3 decades.
