4" Dump Pipe

hey all

Just curious, if you were to put a 4" dump pipe on a ba xr6t.. two questions: would you notice a difference and how much overboost would it cause?

well, unless you did the rest of the system, it would be a waste of time. The difference with a 4" system in a complete exhaust system is better top end performance due to the greater flow.

But as I said, if that's the only thing you plan on doing, don't bother! I'm running standard dump and making 340

no worries, what you need to do is figure out what power you want to end up with - then follow the mod path to it.

If you can do everything in one hit, this is obviously better. But if you want to do things step by step, try and get the best first, then there is no need to change later when the power goes up
