Was a great first cruise for me and was good to get to meet some members. Some of those roads were incredibly fun, but 19s and superlows left me with a sore back by the end haha! I would do it again in a heartbeat though, especially once I upgrade my brakes! Yet again the Qld team set the pace....Great to see everyone again; highlights of the day being the Security guard at Dreamworld in panic mode, the look on the dairy farmers face after 22 cars go past just under the speed limit, and the 75 year old guy trying to keep with us in the G220 Fairlane - which kept bouncing off the limiter in the curvy bits. He dead set should be given an honorary membership - could see the smile on his face like a cracked watermelon...... along with him reaching for his bottle of heart pills as we pulled into Mur'bah.AND - I'm so glad we ALL aimed to have a good clean time without upsetting any of the locals - wherever they were! I don't care HOW good anyone's driving skill is - but being bent out of shape at 98kmph with oncoming traffic is nuts. If anyone EVER wanted to do that stuff..... well - I'm certain they'd be aware that Qld raceway is only just up the road.
