20/02/08 09:35 AM20/02/08 09:35 AM #1 Ive got genuine steel XR8 bonnet on the way up (thanks to a forum member) Just wondering how different the under bonnet insulation is considering it has to cover up the underside of the hump? Just curious to see if I could use the insulation of my XR6 bonnet? The XR8 bonnet is not supplied with insulation.

20/02/08 11:58 PM20/02/08 11:58 PM #5 the xr8's dont actually have an insulation like the xr6's mainly due to the fact that there simply wasnt enough space under there to have it (that was the situation back in ba mk2 and bf mk1 when I was working as a car salesman at my local dealership) dont know if it has changed recently and they are now fitting under bonnet insulation to the xr8's but I certainly know they never used to. OT a little but anyone know where I can get my hands on a bulge bonnett for my T? would love to have one
