I am well and truly convinced to get a custom tune, that has to wait until I get my valve springs done which is next week unfortunately.

Yes it's a cv generic 8psi tune.

Hey guys. Just re gapped the spark plugs and put it all back together. Gapped them to .8, that No 6 spark plug sure it a f*ck of a thing to get to, I ended up using a ratchet and a few little extension pieces all linked together, did the job great.

Anyway, turns out the pipe coming from the turbo to the crossover was also a bit loose, tightened everything up and just took it for a spin/flogging.

Problem has gone %100, car also pulls alot harder through all the gears and I can hear the turbo spooling up even more.

Still going for the full custom tune and getting my other stuff put on, but for now I'm happy with the result.

Once again, thanks to all you guys for helping.

Good stuff Dan!

The gaps are very important once boost is higher than stock.

Easy fix mate

EDIT: #6 was painful as well so I jumped into the magna went to supercheap and bought a flex/extendible socket thingymagig for $10 and it was p*ss easy

Definately ya plugs, replace I reckon with iridiums and gap to .75. The only hard thing is the plug at the fire wall, its a long stretch and you need to piece together sockets as one long rod cant go straight down. What I do is sit on the rocker cover to save my back - im small though. And blow out with compressed air before you take out the plugs so dirt dont fall down.

Mine has been missfiring for ages but only when cruising at 80k's and stab full throttle, the kickdown of the auto must initially spike boost enough to get it missing and my plugs are gapped to .80.

Doesn't do it any other time though and atm I have only one arm to use, plus its a *beep* of a job!
