Mechanics Around South East Melb? (moorabbin/cheltenham)

Featured Replies

Giday guys,

I'm after a mechanic somewhere around Moorabbin/Cheltenham area.

After going through what most people go through with ford's FANTASTIC SERVICING, I'll be damned if those crooks are going to touch my car anymore!!!

I'm after a small mechanic somewhere within that area just to do servicing. (I'll look for tuners down the track)

Ideally I'd love to do the servicing myself and just get them to stamp the service books for me...

Any recommendations guys?

Jarrod.

I've been using MAP Automotive at Arnold Street Cheltenham for over 10 years and they are the fairest mechanics I've ever known. Ask for Michael and tell him Stephan sent you. PH:95843244.

I just go to nizpro for my services.

I get my services done at Amberley Autos which is a part of Horsepower Factory in Dandenong.

they are a bit pricey ive found, but they do a great job and we arent talkin about servicing a little Expensive Daewoo dunnydore here, the car always drives fantastic once they have had it.

for your tuning later on down the track they can do that at HPF as well. which I have had nothing but good results from.

Giday stephan,

I went down there a few weeks ago now, dropped your name and the forum... hoping for a decent price.

Michael was wanting 190 for a BASIC service

Since then I have had the car serviced and dyno'd at a place in moorabbin for $143 + oils/filters all up.. very happy

Maybe he didn't like you! So was the $190 for labour only or inclusive of parts?

I go and visit the guys at High-Tek Brakes quite often and have done for around 6 years now and with 8 different cars!

I trust them with all sorts of cars of varying brands and value and gotten nothing but old fashioned honest service and no BS advice.

In the past I have had them do everything from minor to major servicing, fixes on the fly, RWCs, full suspension and break packages etc..

So far I am very confident in recommending them to anyone as I have sent all my friends family and coworkers there and have yet to hear anything but praise.

They source and supply almost anything for dealers, small shops etc too, so their prices are sharper than I have found elsewhere.

Any car I have taken there has been cared for as if it were their own also, from my run around to my pride and joy!

If you are keen let them know that Daniel with the dark green Typhoon recommended you and speak to Cam.

Oh and don't be scared that they have Holdens on their site; just incase anyone was thinking they specialise in Holdens (or even Fords only) etc
