I have just pruchased a new BF MkII Turbo Manual Ute. I was wondering if someone could provide me with some advice on what sort of exhaust system upgrade I should look at? I am looking at putting a exhaust, cold air intake and a tune. This would be about it as it will be a work vehicle and I intend on keeping it for about 2 years only.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

An Xforce exhaust is the best value for money.

An APS is a dearer option, but is better quality.

Thanks for that, I was looking a getting my local exhaust shop to build the system, do you have any advice on pipe size etc . . . ?

4" front to back with a 5" cat :) I hear Nizpro have one of these in the works...

Most people seem to be keeping the stock zorst and adding a larger cat and dump. This will give good flow and, more than enough to handle the minimal mods you are after and will be a lot cheaper.

There are a number of options.

3.5" or 4" dump pipe

3.5", 4"or 5" cat

3.5" single system from cat back

3.5" from cat to twin 2.5" after centre muffler

twin 2.5" from cat back.

4" all the way

Depends on the power or note your after.

A 3" single system is too small

Ask the exhaust place what they'd recommend, and make sure they do mandrel bends.

In the long run it would probably be better to get an Xforce, they are good value for money.
