January 10, 200818 yr #11 Where are you going mount a 4lt surge tank?KevCould do what bcl is doing, mount it in the boot up by the rear seats, not ideal though if you value boot space.

January 11, 200818 yr #13 Hey Kev,Just something I was thinking about a while back, what about a surge tank with its own pump, within the standard fuel tank? Is that doable? Principal of operation would be the same, but everything would be contained within a custom/modified fuel tank, with a distinctly factory look from the outside.
January 12, 200818 yr #16 AFAIK the Nizpro one is more of a custom high performance replacement of the factory fuel tank pump system, adding foam block baffles as well, to prevent fuel rushing away from the pickup etc.I found a thread on it here (RRP $1496 at the time. Yikes.):http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=34562As an alternative, I think a seperate surge tank with its own pump, all within the fuel tank itself, would be an awesome way to go. January 12, 200818 yr #17 talk to JP300 about his Nizpro surge tank.. he mentioned the other day at the drags that he was getting fuel surge with it at 3/4 tank!! now that's not exactly something you want when you spend $1500 to prevent it.
January 13, 200818 yr #20 I'd be getting the pressure tested mate, this sounds very unsafe. How old is the filter? Could be clogging upYour intake pump could be having issues.Get the boys to look at it befor damage occurs.
