hello im thinking about gettin a new exhaust on my xr6 turbo ute. The back muffler is screwed and it will cost me 350 to replace it or I can get a new 3inch cat back system with twin tips out the back muffler. is a 3 inch single system gonna be any better than the stock system what do you guys recommend thanks

don't go any smaller than 3.5" single, otherwise get a dual 2.5" system from the cat back, the 3" is useless unless it is straight through!

You can get a dual 2.5 cat back off ebay for around $450, that would be my choice.

Hey mate by straight through do u mean no cat or mufflers it only has 1 muffler at the back with a 3 inch cat

yeah, by straight through I mean basically a race car style exhaust, just straight pipe from the turbo - a no no on road cars!

either 3.5 or dual 2.5 is what you need on these cars

ok thanks mate ill just get the muffler replaced for now and think about gettin a bigger dump pipe and cat
