What was your Car rwkw on the stock tune, before you flashed it

Honestly got no idea. Mine has only seen the dyno after it had the cai, air filter and generic KPM tune slapped on it. It got 270rwkw after those mods only.

I'd love to see what time you run down the quater now DORKO! I'd say it will be a similar time to what I will run when I eventually get off my butt and head on down there.

top time..

I ran a 13.9 in a stock ute with 1200km on the clock.. It was my first ever 1/4 run.

13.5 is a fricken awesome time... I recogn I could get a 13.7 with practice but 13.5 well that's another story!!

well done!

Hey all,

I ran my car at Calder park Friday night and did a best time of 13.5, car's standard (auto) apart from a dirty BMC air filter.

Has anyone else ran with similar times?

Cheers

Chris.

G'day Chris,

Great time for a stocky.... I have also ran 13.61 @103mph (2.1 - 60' ft) in a totally stock 03' 4spd auto T @ Calder - must be also a Wednesday build. I guess you get all sorts - the good...the bad...and the ugly:-)

I was pretty impressed with that and yeah it most likely is a Wednesday build! not like my last car which was most probably a Friday one! hehehe :-)

I think now it's time to do some minor mods now and see the difference.

Cheers

Chris.

Hahahaha

I get my ute back on the 12th Dec for the insurance repairer. Then I will go on a dyno to make sure my tune is still putting  out 265rwkw. Then hopefully that wednesday ii will be down at the plex for a few runs. But what a drag that would be..... your 270rwkw raw tune and my 265rwkw smooth tune.

should be a interesting result! :pinch:

I'd say you'd definitely get a faster time than me, my dyno graph looks like it got a "safe" power curve around the midrange, where they must back off the timing, where a custom tune would really beef that up safely and give me a better time for sure.
