Cant seem to get the center console. I undid all the screws I can see, the plastic clips in the bottom of the console where you lift the lid but it still wont budge. What am I missing????

It should be free from the look of it. If you drop one of those clips in the tunnel, you can not buy them from Ford as a service part...

Was looking at the link to the pdf in post 2, is it that simple? Cause when I was feeling around in the dark last night I couldn't feel a screw near the base of the stick...or am I on crack?Then it just slides out and you shove a new one in?Also while I'm at it has anyone had to do this before? and if so how much auto selectors cost from either a Ford dealer...or somewhere else?cheers
