I didn't want to loose my clock, so I went a different way with my boost guage install.

AVO have a pod that sits in the corner of the A pillar on the dash. It obscures about 70% of the tweeter if you have premo sound. To get it to sit right we cut the tweeter screen to match.

The pod itself is moulded off a non premo sound pillar cover, and the tweeter screen sits out about 3mm making for a sh*t final sit. In saying this, I have about 60% normal sound coming from the obscured tweeter. But I will be replacing these soon with aftermarkets mounted on the mirror panel.

We cleaned the dash and wired it all up, and siliconed it from the inside, before replacing the guage.
