Installing Cai But Do I Need A Retune

my car has edit only mod so after installing a xr8 cai will I need to get it retuned or will it be fine

it will be fine, the car will just breathe in easier, a custom tune is always a good idea, you wont regret it!

apart from sound.. will adding a K&N & a second CAI make much difference?

I agree - I put one of these on as the first mod - seemed to improve throttle response, and sounds better.

Once you mod much (edit, etc) - then the intake can become a restriction standard - so becomes more necessary.

Agreed. Got this mod done on Friday avo in conjunction with a BMC Panel Filter and I have found the same; better throttle response, sounds awesome.
