Ghost In The Machine

Just had a new tail shaft placed in my XR6T BA MkII auto.

Now have a lovely harmonic sound that comes into play at the 80 Km/hr mark.

Sounds like a low pitched moan. Above and below the 80 k mark it pretty much disappears. If you coast at 80 k, not much of the sound, but when you apply a touch acceleration, it comes back. Do you think it's a matter of a the tail shaft needing another go at its' balance, or a transmission issue?

cheers

Steve
