Are BA's different to the BF Clamps?

Maybe the people that mention the hoses that blow off thrash their cars more, putting it under more stress???? Because I'm one that thrashes the car at any chance I get.

I am starting to wonder how many people have had a hoses blow off?

What is your interpretation of thrashing? Once on boost always on boost. Nearly have 3 years on it now and I am not a feather foot either.

Looovvvveee the feel of boooossssttt.

hey Dorko ive been thinkin about gettin the flash tuner thingy.

where'd u gets urs from and how much was it?

how is it going for ya so far?

Bought my CAPA for $595 + $20 postage. KPM. Theres a forum going on for a group buy atm on this site.

There service so far has been really good. They are very helpful over the phone, and if its true I should get the flasher tomorrow. Which is a two day turn round from SA to Perth.

Its the cheapest I've seen to be honest. Plus its brand new, so I shouldn't have any dramas with it. Touch wood.

I will let you know how it turns out on Friday/ Saturday once I flash my ute. I want it Dyno as well just to see the figures and to make sure it won't stuff up my car. I love it to much to go without. :funnydance:

Make sure you get an AFR reading as I'd be interested in seeing the results from the KPM generic tune.

And just to make sure its not running lean (not a good thing for the car)

see its that kinda comment that makes me sceptical about getting a generic tuned box.

I guess a custom tune is the only solution.

good luck with the tune Dorko!

HAHAHAH Thanks for putting the () to simplify the meaning lol. But to be honest I have no idea what AFR means. I just no the higher the AFR is, the worst/ dangerous its to the car

Can you break it done for me Aaron.

Air fuel ratio, you'd want it around the 11.5-12.5 by Average, anything over 13 is risky..

When I ran my CV generic tune it nearly pushed 14.. To give you some indication, didn't take long for me to custom tune the car after that!

Yeah I dont think anyone can argue with that. But just for a couple months a think the generic tune will be ok. If it wasnt for this wedding I would go a custom straight out.

But to be honest I would be happy to have half the mods Aaron has! hahahhaha Every week Aarons got a new mod to his signature block. Lucky bugga. :funnydance:

I keep everyone posted on the dyno results!

Oh thanks Aaron for explaining the AFR to me :banghead:
