August 14, 200719 yr #7 Author Thanks for that so I should be looking for:-3.5 inch steel Cat-Cost around $350plus fittingIf it's possible to get some names of cats that I should be asking for??Also, if people think of any other criteria I should ask when making my decision that would be helpful also.RegardsTUFXRT6
August 15, 200719 yr #8 Having a good tune would be important. I would be surprised if many cats stand up to high exhaust gas temperatures brought about by poor tuning.
August 15, 200719 yr #9 Author I totally agree with you Adamw, but...its suprising how bad the tune would need to be to really effect the exhuast temp to a degree that it should start effectecting a good quality cat.RegardsTUFXRT6 Edited August 15, 200719 yr by TUFXRT6
