Gregory's Ford in Canberra have started advertising the FPV range in a few local publications.

CityNews Magazine - May 29, 2003

"Calling all Canberra Ford and GT fans, your wait is over!

The first production models of the new Ford Performance Vehicles (FPV), GT, GT-P and Pursuit models have recently made their way into local dealerships.

The FPV range of vehicles are now on sale.

Over the past 100 years, Ford, and more recently Tickford have been manufacturing an enviable family tree of high performance cars for both the road and the track.

FPV is the culmination of three of the greatest names in performance motoring.

Ford, Tickford and Prodrive (the parent company of Tickford) have formed a united front, one organisation that is dedicated to generating race-bred excitement for die-hard fans of the famous blue-oval (for those of you who are not die-hard fans, the Blue Oval is the common name for the Ford emblem).

The GT boasts a huge 290 kilowatt, quad-cam Boss 290 engine, hand built in the only V8 assembly line in Australia.

The GT is an impressive combination of power and driveability, featuring a comprehensive chassis, and a host of safety features.

Described as a 'weightlifter in a dinner suit', this 21st Century interpretation of the classic GT showcases brilliant craftsmanship, and engineering ingenuity.

The GT-P is an extended version of the new GT, boasting the same potent features, but offering a range of premium enhancements as standards, including the FPV Race Stripe Package, impressive 7 spoke alloys and premium interior features.

The FPV Pursuit model offers all the practicality of a work vehicle, it's definitely a case of ute by design, performance by nature. This 2 door sports vehicle also features the popular, roomy Supercab design, making the Pursuit a versatile and comfortable work option.

With a recommended retail price of $59, 850 plus all statuary charges for the manual GT, Ford Performance Vehicles will redefine pleasure and power driving for all motor enthusiasts."

Thanks for posting Barra :)

l found the quote 'weightlifter in a dinner suit' a bit curious given all the press over the weight of the BA though.

Bloody AWESOME....and good choice on the rims...ATP 5 Razzes (2 piece?)....very very sweet.

Yeah, those wheels look awesome. Just before the footy started tonight, there were two ads on T.V. with John Bowe. It was for Gregory's Ford and it had the exact same GT-P as in the above picture. They showed all the inside of it and heap's of different close-up's and the car look's unreal!

I'll say it strait "That is the best looking car I have ever seen" and it's in a picture I only dreem of seeing such a awesome car with my own eye's I probebly think it awesome because it's blood orange, racing stripes, sweet aftermarket rims and I'm going to stop there before I start drooling on the screen OOP'S to late.
