Gday folks,

Picked up a BF T auto last week from auction (After spending every tuesday morning there since christmas to get one I was happy with.) and want to really get it nice.

It has a bunch of holes in the center console (Tried telling the missus they were pre drilled speed holes since she was calling me a ricer for buying a turbo instead of a eight) on the side from where the equipment was mounted. Anyone had to fix theirs before and have some suggestions on methods to fix and what type of filler/plastic welding stuff? to use?

Cheers

Dave

Hey mate,

The other boys should be able to help you out with the paint colour but wholes wise, people just use fibreglass. Search the audio forums for the colour code, fella used fibreglass to cover inbetween the tissue box and gear selector for the second head deck.

"The paint used for the facia is SNB 150 Desert Rose Met. The can is available from Autobarn and is a perfect match for the rest of the dash."

Cheers for the info guys.

As its the softer plastic on the side of the console the welder sounds like the go. Any ideas on where to get it from?

Im thinking just wonder around hardware house or bunnings?

When I worked in a car yard years ago, we used to get alot of ex fleet cars through, and the pro plastic welder did an amzing job. Could barely see that it had been done.
