a drop down screen is my next project.

you would need to purchase three RCA y connectors and a board from france or carconvertors.com or ASL.

If you already have the DVD player take a look at this... ASL Logistics

Just scroll down a bit until you see "DVD on Factory TFT Screen" and the "kit only" is what you are after.

The main problem with the 1 u showed me is it doesnt turn on while u drive. With the other way doing it yourself can u make it so u have a switch to swap between the DVD and ICC

That one will only play the DVD image when the handbrake is on. But that's easy fixed! An apprentice electrical technician should be able to do it no problems! :stirthepot:

Hey Herb's, the way I would do it is as per the drawings on page 2 using the switch to go from one to another plus the addition of a splitter / booster into a France RBG converter. I'm going to be looking into headrest screens that also have the option of having a audio jack output for head phones so either the people in the front can watch the dvd on the front screen whilst the people in the back do or whilst the people in the back watch the dvd with head phones on the driver can listen to music through the normal ICC and radio.
